Frequently asked questions
That depends on the check frequency you set on the campaign. On realtime you usually hear within a few minutes of a listing going up. You can also choose 15 minutes, hourly, or daily. It is set per campaign, so you can check often on the searches that matter and rarely on the rest.
It does, and they tell you when a new vehicle matches your search. SwiftBids starts there and goes further. Before alerting you, it checks each match against the conditions you set, such as only Buy Now units at least 5% under MMR, no frame damage, or grade 4.0 and up. It skips vehicles you have already been alerted to. The alert arrives in Email, Slack, Discord or Telegram with the price, MMR, grade and notes in the message, so you can decide without opening OVE.
OVE is fully live and operational today. We are currently setting up Copart as our next priority platform. The remaining marketplaces (AutoTrader, Cars.com, Facebook Marketplace, IAAI, and CARFAX) are planned for the future. We don't have set release dates for these future platforms because we prioritize our development based on customer demand. If there is a specific marketplace you need right away even if it is not on our list please let us know.
MMR (Manheim Market Report) is the industry-standard wholesale vehicle valuation. SwiftBids can compare listing prices against MMR values to help you spot underpriced vehicles instantly.
One campaign per slot, and you can hold as many slots as you want. For example one for luxury sedans under $40k and another for low-mileage pickups.
Yes, once you move past demo mode (trial). Your credentials are encrypted at rest and used only to read listings. SwiftBids never bids, never buys, and never changes anything else on the account. Disconnect at any time and the stored credentials go with it.
Demo mode (trial) is for having a look. One campaign, reduced check frequency, nothing to connect. When you are using it properly, connect your account: you pick the frequency and run as many campaigns as your slots allow. Switch a campaign between the two whenever you like, and your criteria carry over.
Only if you connect your account. Any standard HTTP or SOCKS proxy works, and you enter it once in Settings. Demo mode (trial) needs none. We plan to supply proxies ourselves as SwiftBids grows, but we are not putting a date on it.
Yes. The SwiftBids dashboard is fully mobile-responsive. However, because SwiftBids delivers instant alerts via Email, Discord, Slack, and Telegram, you don't need to keep the app open to track deals. We are also developing native iOS and Android apps for the future, which will introduce direct mobile push notifications alongside our existing channels.
No. Each slot is billed monthly with no commitment. You can add or remove slots at any time, and cancel whenever you want.
